The Smoothie Spot officially opened in October of 2022, but the business began much earlier than that. Beginning with a mission, co-owner and founder, BJ Grondin, aimed to create a business that offered additional health beyond that of his growing personal-training business — Prime360. With the help of friends and family, the idea of a smoothie shop came up and sparked the beginning of The Smoothie Spot located here in Auburn, Maine on the corner of Stevens Mill Road and Court Street, and inside the new Prime360 building. Joined by co-owner Jeremy Callahan and general manager Isabella Pray, the name, logo, menu, and community setting were thoroughly developed, all following our combined mission to bring healthy food options to our local community. Our building embodies the essence of real health by promoting the physical and mental well-being embodied by Prime360, and the real nutrition and clean-eating aspect of The Smoothie Spot.

Following this mission, our spot uses only real ingredients, no artificial sugars or powders, and combines delicious flavors to prove that real health can still taste good. We offer a range of options from more fruity blends in smoothies and smoothie bowls to specialty smoothies specific to certain areas of your health. Our goal is to grow out of our Auburn location and expand beyond the L/A community to give as many people as we can the opportunity for a quick, tasty, and real food option; health at convenience, as we like to say.
